INTERNSHIP: VIDEOGRAPHY (SPRING 2019)

Crafty Communications is currently accepting applications for video interns. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in film production and digital marketing. Responsibilities of a video intern vary according to date/clients’ needs.

Key tasks and responsibilities would include:

  • Assisting the Director of Creative Services with shooting promotional videos for various clients
  • Editing videos and media collateral for various Crafty clients
  • Brainstorming and creative strategy for implementation of Crafty clients’ digital marketing
  • Assisting the Crafty team with shooting photography for creative materials and client events
  • Helping out with scheduled film shoots in the Crafty studio
  • Assisting the Crafty team with day-to-day film and digital marketing responsibilities

 

Internship Requirements:

  • A college junior or senior studying film & media studies, broadcast electronic media, photography or visual communications
  • Strong video-editing skills (sound design and animation experience a plus)
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
  • Ability to effectively communicate both visually and verbally
  • Desire to work in a creative, collaborative environment
  • Ability to multitask while being thorough, accurate and detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

 

For the internship to be considered complete, you will complete one “project” in which you produce a video for your resume and reel that displays your skill in the field.  Subject matter and your role on the project is decided based on your career aspirations.

Weekly Hours: Candidate must be available to work a range of 10-20 hours per week. Internship hours will be coordinated to fit the student’s class schedule and meet course credit requirements.

 

Compensation: Freestyle interns must be eligible to receive course credit through a university program.

Crafty Communications is currently accepting applications for social media interns. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in all social media platforms and digital marketing. Responsibilities of social media interns vary according to date/clients’ needs.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Content creation for various Crafty clients’ social media platforms
  • Develop creative blog topics and draft content for various Crafty clients
  • Brainstorm and strategize for implementation of Crafty clients’ digital marketing
  • Copywriting for digital marketing signage
  • Assist the Crafty team with day-to-day digital marketing responsibilities

 

Internship Requirements:

  • College junior or senior studying public relations, advertising, marketing or communications
  • Strong social media writing skills
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to effectively communicate both visually and verbally
  • Desire to work in a creative, collaborative environment
  • Ability to multitask while being thorough, accurate and detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

 

Compensation: Crafty interns must be eligible to receive course credit through a university program.
